Birdhouse

Objects with personal touch and animals in public spaces

At a birdhouse workshop, a small community action reflecting on human-nature relationships, participants fabricate personal and displayable objects from pre-prepared materiels.

Birdhouses in neat and simple style are painted and assembled by participants who give a personal touch to each and every one of them. In cities as well birds need to have their own nesting sites, and different types of birds will occupy different birdhouses depending on the opening.

These workshops are meant to bring participants closer to nature, while drawing their attention to some simple gestures aiming at their immediate environment.
