Danube-side literary tour

Literary journey along the Danube. Readings, conversations with music and light painting on the banks of the Danube from Bratislava to Visegrád.

In the summer of 2015, Valyo Mobil set sail, with musicians, writers on board and, of course, Valyo members. We drove along the Danube with the Steyr minibus, which was transformed into an instant exhibition and performance space, surprising the unsuspecting population with musical readings and installations at each station. Participants were able to meet Valyo’s skipping stones, a shipbuilding workshop, and authors invited by the Young Writers Association – different performers joined the trip every day.

During the trip, the participants got to know the different uses of the Danube bank in the cities and their attention was drawn to the cultural and natural opportunities inherent in the river bank.

Tour route:
July 10. Bratislava
July 11 Dunaszerdahely (next to the City Cultural Center)
